Alisha: This is Must-Know Afrikaans Slang Words and Phrases, Season 1, Lesson 20. In this lesson you'll learn some slang words for relationships.
Alisha: These expressions can be used to describe someone's relationship status.

Alisha: The expressions you will be learning in this lesson are:

Alisha: Dewan, what's our first expression?
Dewan: oujongnooi
Alisha: This literally means "old young maid." But, when it's used as a slang expression, it means "spinster."
