INTRODUCTION
In this lesson, we will introduce you to a phrase you will use countless times on your trip in South Africa. After this lesson, you will be able to say what you like and what you don't like. Let's move right in!

In Afrikaans, "I like beer" is Ek vind bier lekker. Let's break it down by syllable.

The first word, Ek, means, "I."

The next component is a tricky one. There are quite a lot of translations for “to like," but in this context we will translate it into the verb lekker vind. Let's break it down by syllable.

It literally means, “to find delicious."
