| Ek gaan praat oor my stokperdjies. |
| Once more with the English translation. |
| Waaroor gaan jy praat? |
| “What are you going to talk about?” |
| Ek gaan praat oor my stokperdjies. |
| “I'm going to talk about my hobbies.” |
| First of all you'll need to learn how to say “What are you going to talk about?” |
| That's: Waaroor gaan jy praat? |
| Listen to it again: Waaroor gaan jy praat?, Waaroor gaan jy praat? |
| “What are you going to talk about?” |
| This Afrikaans sentence literally translates as “What go you speak?” |
| But it means “What are you going to talk about?”. |
| Now, how do you answer this question? |
| The pattern is: |
| Ek gaan praat oor [topic]. |
| “I'm going to talk about [topic].” |
| For example: |
